Flying Tigers North American P-51 Mustang

The American Volunteer Group AVG was formed in 1941 out of US pilots volunteering to fight the Japanese on the side of the Chinese forces. At first the AVG was equiped with P-40 Warhawks.

In 1944 the P-40s were replaced with P-51D Mustangs.
